There are scores of hummingbirds in the Lincoln National Forest and at anytime a full feeder will be crowded with hungry birds. They are brave little things. The day I wore the bright blue shirt one flew right up to me and gave me the once over to make sure I wasn't a flower. Scared the heck out of me!
