The boys new bed came today. Hopefully they will sleep in their own room tonight. : )

Halloween Party at the boys school

Well the boys decided to go as a police man and a fireman for their Halloween party at school today. Here are some pictures of Kai and Leo's class parade.

We went over to Jack and Allison's house for pizza and to watch "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown".

We finished the mural in the boys room

Yesterday I talked to Miriam and she told me about Tabitha. Nettie came over and helped me finish the mural and it was really great therapy. I think it came out really well.

Painting a Mural in the Boys Room...

We got the boys a tent bunk bed and decided to paint a forest mural on their wall so they'd have a camping themed room. Everyone helped paint and there are 3 bears, one for each boy: Leo's bear is orange, Kai's bear is brown and Max's bear is grey.

Arboretum Adventure

Leo's first week of MDO

Leo started going to Mother's Day Out two days a week at the Methodist Church where Kai is going to preschool. The teachers are both very nice and he took to it like a fish to water. He didn't even bat an eye the first day as far as I can tell. I guess because we've been going there with Kai it is pretty familiar and I think he's happy to get to play with some other kids.

Kai continues to enjoy his class and we have had some pretty heavy philosophical conversations lately. I think he is really getting a very well rounded education. : )

State Fair

We had fun at the State Fair on Sunday. We rode the Tram into the park and then went straight to the petting zoom.

After the petting zoom, we headed over to the Woman's Building for some free ice cream and chocolate milk. We saw Bessie and her calf.

After catching a frisbee dog show and a puppet show in the arts and craft building we headed for the cars. We looked at the mini-vans and then we saw these...

Lastly, we headed over to the midway and mommy took Kai and Leo through the fun house. We picked up some cotton candy on our way out and headed home.

Soccer and Water Playground

On Saturday, Spotty watched Kai play soccer with his team the Knights. Then they cooled off at the water playground at the park and played on the play ground while they dried off.
